desk-background1Almost weekly I’ll get a call from a potential client and the same words that I have heard over and over will come rushing out of their mouth. “I’ve been in business for some time, and I’ve got a (insert service or product here) that I want to share with as many people as I can. I have a website but no one seems to find me. I think I need to build my list… Can you help me?”

Many of our clients have been lulled into believing “if you build it, they will come”, from well-intentioned web designers, graphic designers, or even the slick internet marketer who promises millions flowing out of your computer. But gone are the days in 1993 when there were only 130 websites on the World Wide Web. Today there are over 1,164,814,940 websites on the internet (with one more being added each second, yep second!).

Countless numbers of our clients have opened their website and thought that people would just flood to them.

Unfortunately, what is often not said to them is that they now need a direct path to their website.

So how does your client break through all the noise and traffic on the web and get people to their website, or to their product or their service? Through… email marketing.

Email marketing is a way to reach consumers directly via electronic mail. Email can be used to impact consumers in a variety of ways and is a more evolved form of the traditional direct (snail) mail marketing.

Direct email marketing reaches those interested in your business’ area of expertise, and can do so with an attractive mix of graphics, text and links straight to people who may have never heard of your business or considered your products.

As a super VA, it is up to you to guide your client through the full email marketing process. You can build this out in various ways, but basically you will help them:

  • Create their free offer (to create interest in their product or service)
  • Set up opt in pages (to build the list)
  • Create a way to download the offer (the delivery system)
  • Create an email follow up campaign (the nurture series)
  • Create on-going email campaigns for additional offers or information

Sound daunting? It doesn’t have to be.

With the right tools and techniques you can assist your client in everything they need to get this process running and running well.

This month during my Master Class series, I will be teaching about some of the most important aspects of email marketing:

  • Subject lines (your first priority is to get the email opened)
  • Copywriting (writing a strong effective email)
  • Systems (an elegant system and campaign to deliver the emails)
  • Best Tips and Techniques for using the system

The correct use of email marketing is one of the fastest and most effective ways to build a client’s list. It has many touch points and works with your clients current services and offers to attract the right potential client for them. It can pin-point your client’s ideal customer and can laser-focus on their needs and desires.

So, won’t you join me this month on April 18 and 20, 3pm Pacific (6pm Eastern) for my Master Class on Email Marketing. I’ll train you on my favorite systems, and give you best practices for creating, designing, and sending your clients’ emails.

Each class runs 60-90 minutes and I am always available to answer any questions you may have.

Remember, email marketing can be a huge factor for each and every client you serve. You owe it to yourself and your clients to get the latest tips and techniques to create an effective system.

Hope to see you on April 18th!
